Masters of Urban and Rural Planning
The Fellowship has been an enriching experience which has provided not just an understanding of how the Urban India functions or a Corporation operates but also how a Commissioner takes decisions. The 12 months gave a wholesome and real-world picture of the complexity of problems ailing the cities and how the solutions need to be customized according to the diverse perspectives of the citizens.
The array of work involved in ideation, development and implementation of the project continuously required one to work out of their comfort zones. While Research has always been my forte, thinking of developing it into a product was a challenge. However, the approach of the fellowship and the senior leadership only helped me evolve into a better professional and an educated urbanist.
